Hi

Welcome to A Goodinspiration. I document my travel, style, food, and inspiration. Hope you have a nice stay!

Oahu, Hawaii

Oahu, Hawaii

Again, I’m late on writing this post, as it happened a few months ago, but here is my Hawaii travel!

We ended up staying around 2 days in Oahu and spending the rest of the trip, 5 days, in Maui. We stayed at the ‘Alohilani in Waikiki and it was so well situated! Waikiki beach is the image that you think of when you think of Hawaii and it did not disappoint. Since we were there in March, the North Shore was still pretty rough, but Waikiki was so calm. I wish I went in the ocean there more! The first day I went to an açaí banana ice-cream window that was called Banán. I think they have a few locations throughout Hawaii but this one was walking distance from our hotel. It was so delicious, I had to go back the next day!

Another day on Oahu we took a drive up to the North Shore. The scenery is just incredible! There were lush mountains that you would drive through that would open up to sparkling blue waters. We drove up to Haleiwa and there were a lot of food truck lunch options along the way. Haleiwa Bowls looked very cute, but I didn’t try one since I was so full from lunch. Next time I want to get one! We did go to North Shore Goodies, which had the most extensive flavors of peanut butter. We got a coffee flavor to take home. On the drive back down, I couldn’t come back from the North shore without stopping at the Sunrise Shack, a little golden shack on the side of the highway with açaí. It was hard to walk across the highway to get there! I had a small açaí bowl and it was a perfect snack.

The next day we packed up and got ready for our flight to Maui! Blog post coming soon.
